In 1954 Peter and Hans Herres realised their visionary thinking and founded one of the first ‘sekt’ (sparkling wine) wineries on the Moselle. Future-oriented thinking and dealing have characterised the company from the beginning.

The family has always successfully transformed new challenges into new drink creations, making the company very expansive. The transformation from a classic sekt winery into an innovative beverage producer was made.

Today the Herres Group is one of the most important international suppliers of classic and innovative drinks in the segments of German sparkling wine, Italian sparkling wine, cocktails, pre-mixed drinks, non-alcoholic wellness drinks, organic refreshment, children’s party drinks and many more.
